Cascades Casino Langley, a First Visit
This page is for someone whose casino trips start at Starlight in New Westminster and who wonders about Cascades in Langley. It covers where the room sits, how it differs, the door rule and the trip there and back.

Where Cascades Sits and What It Holds
Cascades Casino Langley has its home at 20393 Fraser Highway, Langley, BC V3A 7N2. A straight line on the map runs 21.6 km from central New Westminster to it, and that is not a road distance. By that yardstick, none of the nine Metro Vancouver casinos covered here is farther away. Gateway Casinos & Entertainment runs it, and it opened in 2005.
Just as at Starlight, the doors at Cascades stay open at all hours, all week, all year. Its poker room opens at 10AM daily. At Starlight, poker runs from 11AM to late Sunday to Thursday, and around the clock on Friday and Saturday.
On the floor you will find a 6-table poker room, 28 live table games and more than 1,000 slots. Starlight lists 54 live table games and more than 935 slot machines, so Langley has about half the tables. There is also the Crystal Room, a separate area for higher-stakes slots, meaning machines that take bigger bets. Bingo, both paper and electronic, runs Thursday to Sunday, and this guide does not list session times.
Before You Walk In
- No one under 19 gets in, and each visitor must show a valid government photo ID. At the entrance, security staff scan that card and check it against the names of people who are barred, for example anyone enrolled in Game Break. For anyone allowed inside, the system stores no personal details at all.
- Poker has its own room here, with 6 tables, opening at 10AM daily. In a poker room, players play against each other while a dealer runs the game.
- Food and drink come from MATCH Eatery & Public House and Glacier Bar, among others.
- Next door, at the same address, is the Coast Langley City Hotel & Convention Centre. The old 420-seat Summit Theatre closed in early 2018 and became a bingo hall.
- Encore Rewards is the name of the loyalty card here. A loyalty card is a free membership card that the casino links to your visits.
Getting There and Getting Home
The Langley Centre bus exchange is next to the casino, about 130 to 190 m away in a straight line. This guide does not list casino parking details. The adjoining hotel says parking is free for hotel and convention guests.
Plan the way home before you leave New Westminster, especially for a late night. Never drive after drinking. Settle on the bus, a ride or a sober driver before the first drink arrives.

Is Cascades Casino Langley open all night?
Just as at Starlight, the doors here never close, day and night, every single day of the year. The poker room has its own start time and opens at 10AM daily.
Does SkyTrain go to Cascades Casino Langley?
SkyTrain does not reach the casino yet. The Surrey Langley SkyTrain will extend the Expo Line 16 km, from King George Station to 203 Street. Service is expected in late 2029, and its Langley City Centre station will be next to the casino. Until then, the Langley Centre bus exchange sits next door.
